The Basics
Planning on attending the Zoo Ball: Once Upon a Tail? You’re going to need some basic information to find out if you can attend. It’s going to be taking place on Friday, Oct. 4, from 6 to 9 p.m. on the grounds of the San Antonio Zoo. Adult tickets cost $100, which includes admission, a seated dinner, entertainment, and more. Keep in mind that every child needs an adult chaperone who is 18 years of age or older. Tickets for children cost $75 and include all the above, plus a party favor bag. Only for kids ages 17 and younger. You can also buy a table if you want to sit with a large group of people. Check out the zoo’s website for more information on that.
Animal Ambassador Appearances
This might be a ball, but it is being held at the zoo. That means you’re going to get to see appearances from all kinds of different animals. These “animal ambassadors” are friendly, and you may even get to pet some of them! Kids are going to love seeing these creatures and meeting them at the ball.
Dinner for Adults and Kids
No matter what kind of event you go to, you don’t want to get hungry while you’re there. That’s why you’re going to enjoy an entire sit-down dinner when you come out to the Zoo Ball. Both children and adults will get food, so make sure you don’t fill up before you arrive!

Black-Tie Optional
It’s not every day that your kids get to dress up and feel really special, so if they’re into that kind of thing, you might want to help them get black-tie ready for this event. But it’s only optional, so no pressure to dress up if you don’t want to!
