There are a lot of great things about living in Texas. But one of the most fun is how many different cultures you can experience right in your backyard. There’s a great chance coming up to see just how many kinds of Texans there are and enjoy all kinds of cultural entertainment and experiences at the Texas Folklife Festival.

The Texas Folklife Festival will be Friday, June 7 through Sunday, June 9. The festival is on the grounds of the UTSA Institute of Texan Cultures. The address there is 801 East Cesar E. Chavez Boulevard, San Antonio.
The festival will be open on Friday, June 7, from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.; Saturday, June 8, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.; and Sunday, June 9, from noon to 7 p.m.
If you buy your tickets ahead of time, they’re $12, or $5 for kids ages 6 to 12. Children under 5 are free. If you buy tickets at the gate, adults are $15, and kids are still the same price.

About The Texas Folklife Festival

There will be more than 250 organizations participating that will represent more than 40 cultural groups that call Texas home. Entertainment and music performers will be on six different stages. More than 100 authentic food items will be available for visitors to purchase, and around 60 artisans will be selling their products.
