About the Race
This race will take place Saturday, May 18 at 10 a.m. You can register online now! The 5K registration for adults costs $25, and the cost stays the same all the way through race day. Kids 10 and under also need to register to participate in the race, but they can register for free.
The Family Health & Wellness 5K is in its second year. If you didn’t participate last year, you’re in for a real treat! It’s a really fun race on the grounds of Hemisphere Park. You’ll get to head down to the Riverwalk and back.
And this race is totally open to runners and walkers. So it’s a chance for the whole family to get out and get some exercise together. No matter what your fitness level is, you’ll definitely enjoy this beautiful day.
After the race, check out the 2019 Family Health and Wellness Expo. You can find the expo at the Henry B. Convention Center. And even if you don’t participate in the race, you can still go to the expo for free. There will be exhibits, activities, and demonstrations about businesses and services all around the San Antonio area. Most of these businesses will be geared toward families, so you’ll be sure to find some really great stuff!
Family Health & Wellness 5K Schedule
When race day rolls around, be sure to head over to Hemisphere Park early. Race day registration starts at 8:30, so you’ll still have time to sign up anyone who didn’t get to it ahead of time. Then you’ll definitely want to be there for the opening ceremony at 9:30. And get ready to race starting at 10 a.m.
